Mentoring

Women are the majority of animation students and later work in positions related to the organisation of film production. Often their start on the professional path is more difficult by a lack of confidence and a shaped market. Therefore, we are organising a mentoring programme for young female producers and production managers to give them a set of tools and skills to work smoothly in management positions.

The programme is designed for five participants from the countries of Central and Eastern Europe who are students or graduates in animation and production organisation and who have worked in the production department of an animated student or graduation film.

The training consists of four modules:

Organising and managing film production (Katarzyna Gromadzka & Maria Motovska)

Financing film production (Annemie Degryse)

Film promotion and distribution (Kamila Dohnalova)

Sustainable film production (Birgit Heidsek).

Duration: 5-8 October 2023.

Fee: €50 (includes the cost of accreditation to ANIMARKT Stop Motion Forum 2023).
